Historical Note: This geometric bowl features a great example of the Virgin Kayenta Anasazi district found in the most western part of the Anasazi region near Lake Mead Nevada.  Design works from the Virgin Kayenta district are only surpassed by the Mimbres culture of southwestern New Mexico.  In fact there are many similarities between the Virgin Kayenta district geometric bowl designs and Mimbres geometric bowls.  Leaving one to wonder if these two groups ever crossed paths.
