Historical Note: This bowl is known as the finest example of Gila
Polychrome. The design is called “Flight of the
Macaws”. Two Macaws are seen in the bowl, the
“s” curved line is the flight line with a wing on each
end of the symbol. Two stylized Macaws can be
seen in the bowl along with mountains and lighting.
