The seed jar arrived, beautifully packed and in perfect condition.  I just love it, and I'm sure Dave will, too.  You folks do extraordinary work.

Enjoy the fall!

You were so wonderful in taking care of our needs and getting the pottery to my family. We really felt like we were part of the process and knowing how it was made makes it even more beautiful.  The pottery we received exceeds our every expectation. Seeing the pottery in real life, you can see how much time and care was put into it. It looks and feels like an ancient piece of art. I cannot thank you enough.

I am very impressed with your work. I have taken classes with Clint Swank, Ignacio, and your work is outstanding. I currently work as a field archaeologist with the US Forest Service, and a mapper with the Archaeologist Dept. at Fort Lewis College. I would love to visit your gallery this coming summer, and wondered if you offer classes, internships, or such. I have dabbled in some replication work, but have never seen such authentic dedication to using the original materials. Working in the field most of the time, the pot sherds we find are tiny bits and pieces. It's a joy to see what they were suppose to look like. I have followed your work for several years, and have an old brochure. I would love to be able to purchase one of your replicas in the future.

 Thank you, Janet Marie Clawson-Cano.

I found your wonderful website while researching Mimbres and Anasazi
pottery.  While I love ethnographic antiquities depicting animals and
animal deities I really struggle with the ethics of collecting priceless
craft of people who are not here to defend or explain them. After reading
about the historical pot scavenging efforts and disturbance of burial and
house sites in the SW that exposed this beautiful pottery I feel unable to
purchase "real" ones without feeling that I would be giving offense.  It is
one thing to pick up an item from a townsite that was unearthed for other
reasons and quite another to intentionally take things from a grave. I
won't do this or support dealers who do.  Collecting things for the
monetary value means nothing to me.  The art is beautiful for its own sake
in my mind. So, I was thrilled to see your work.

Sincerely,

Very much impressed with your work,  I to do
similar work and am always looking for
  information and fellow potters who
appreciate the work, labor, and true
art expressed by the native elders.
I am also teaching at a community college
  southwest pottery techniques, and
  currently working with students on
anasazi style mugs, and hand painting
mimbres patterns for our studio, as
students get more experience we will
also be working with primitive firing techniques,
and blackware as well as red and whiteware.

I looked at your gallery and was impressed with the quality in color, design, and
longed to touch the pottery itself.  I'm so glad to see that this craft lives on and
is there for our civilization to enjoy in our own homes.

Thanks,
Jerrie Ann Yeager

A great site where one can enjoy the thought of a great mind long departed. Cheers for the good work!
